Getting Electricity connected

The following is information on how to apply for Electricity connection and the documents required to apply.

Aydem EDAS - Aydem Elektrik Dagitim A.S. (Aydem Electricity Distribution Inc. Co.) is in charge of Electricity Distribution to the following provinces of Turkey: Denizli, Aydin and Mugla.

Connection Application And Documents Requested

1 - Connection (Energy Permission) Application;

Applications must be made by;

a.) Property owner and / or the owner or representative,

b.) Tenant, if the property has been rented the tenants should have a rental contract with them.

A letter of application should be written by the applicant to the licensed distributor (Aydem EDAS) with the below information included;

a.) Tapu/Title Deed (island no., section no., plot no., etc.) of the place of usage and its address

b.) The type of energy/power requested (If the applicant wants a private transformer installed the energy/power type is kVA, if they want to be provided by the AG the total project energy/power is kW.)

c.) The intended usage of the facility or usage place requesting energy.

d.) The duration for the temporary connection.

2 - Documents Requested When Applying For A Connection Agreement:

If the available distribution system meets the requested connection requirements;

a.) Title Deed of the requested place

b.) Certified Electricity Project Plans of the requested place

c.) Occupancy permit for those that are within the zoning area, according to the 3194 numbered Zoning Law 30th,31st Articles

d.) Ocupancy permit for those that are within established village areas and surroundings and fields, according to the 3194 numbered Zoning Law 27th,30th Articles

e.) Occupancy permit given from the Public Works And Settlement Province Directorates for those that are outside developments and village areas

f.) Permit document from the related authorities of the legislation for places that do not require a license

g.) Meter Bill

h.) Other documents that may be requested according to the relevant legislation

i.) Electricity Project Plans and a permit for the intended use, for those that are requesting temporary connection from the distribution system, for a limited duration
