Didim is becoming more populated with foreigners whom are relocating to Turkey.

There are currently many foreign families already living in Didim and that have placed their children into the Turkish schools.

Unfortunately, there are no special additional programs for foreign students at the moment.

The only type of help given to foreign students are thanks to some teachers that offer after school lessons to students after regular school hours. Hopefully there will be future plans and changes made in the Turkish schools in Didim to help educate foreign students also.

If or when you decide to relocate to Turkey with your children it is important for parents to let their children meet and make friends with turkish children. In the beginning it might be a little hard for them to adapt but it is something that even the parents will go through when moving to another country with another language and different living standards.

It is important that parents show an effort to learn Turkish as well as the children. Keep in mind that children are able to learn faster at a young age and can adapt to their new environment easier than adults.
