For those that like to enjoy camping and being out in nature with all its natural beauties there are many camping areas within Turkey.

In Didim there is a wonderful camping site that is within pine trees and has its own beach.

The camping location is in the Tasburun district of Didim.

The site is called "Milli Park Orman Kampi - Tavsanburnu" (MOCAMP) and is located on the Söke-Didim Road. It is a nice place for camping and has facilities like showers, cooking, restaurant, electricity, water and so on. The telephone number to the camp site is (0256) 825 65 04.

How to get to "Milli Park Orman Kampi - Tavsanburnu" (MOCAMP) Camp Site

If you are coming from Izmir:

- Turn to the Didim Road

- Pass the Akkoy Village

- Keep following the main road and to your left you will pass the Aqua Park

- Next you will see "Didim Sehirici Minibusleri" Minibuses at the Yalikoy Road split.

- At the road split you will see the sign "Milli Park Orman Kampi - Tavsanburnu" (In Turkish camping is written Kamping) entrance.

(When asking for directions to the Camping site please ask for the "Orman Kampi," which is pronounced oremun kumpuh in English)

Entrance Fees & Service Fees

- Individuals - 1.75 TL (only if you are entering on foot)

- Motorcycles - 3.50 TL

- Small Sized Vehicles - 7.00 TL

- Caravans - 10.00 TL

- Medium Sized Vehicles - 16.00 TL

- Large Vehicles (29 Person) - 31.00 TL

- Coaches - 48.00 TL

- Electricity daily fee - 5.00 TL

- No fees taken for water

Local Transportation

For those that would like to use the local transportation to get to Altinkum there are minibuses that have "Aquapark - Altinkum" written on the front of them which you can take to get to the Didim city centre and Altinkum.
